Google reCAPTCHA stops bots from filling in your forms with spam.
The Form block in Nexter Blocks Pro adds reCAPTCHA through its Security Code field, using keys saved once for your whole site.

Before You Start
- Edition: Pro — The Security Code field needs Nexter Blocks Pro.
- Block to enable: Form, switched on under Nexter > Blocks in your WordPress dashboard.
- A reCAPTCHA Site Key and Secret Key: register your domain (without http or https) in the Google reCAPTCHA admin console and choose a version. See reCAPTCHA versions.
Add Your Keys
- Go to Nexter > Nexter Blocks > Settings.
- Turn on Connect Google reCAPTCHA and click its settings icon.
- Paste your keys into Site Key reCAPTCHA v3 and Secret Key reCAPTCHA v3, save the popup, then save the settings page.
Add reCAPTCHA to the Form
- In your form, click + and add the Security Code field above the Submit button.
- Set Security Options to reCAPTCHA.
- Pick the reCAPTCHA Version that matches your keys: v2 (Invisible), v2 or v3. Save.
How It Behaves
- The reCAPTCHA script loads with the form, using the Site Key from Extra Options.
- On submit, Google checks the visitor. With v3, submissions with a score below 0.5 are rejected with “reCAPTCHA v3 validation failed or the score is too low.”
- Only verified submissions run the form actions.
Limitations
- Pro only.
- One key pair is saved for the whole site. The fields are labelled v3, but they hold whichever keys you created, so the reCAPTCHA Version in every form must match those keys.
- Using different reCAPTCHA versions in forms on the same page can cause conflicts.
Troubleshooting
Every submission fails reCAPTCHA
The version in the form does not match the keys, or your domain is missing from the key’s domain list in Google.
The reCAPTCHA badge or box does not appear
Check Connect Google reCAPTCHA is turned on and the Site Key is saved.
