Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about copying a recipe and letting your AI assistant build the block inside Gutenberg.

What is a recipe?

A ready-made, plain-English instruction you copy and give to your AI assistant. It tells the assistant exactly which Nexter block to build and how, so you skip writing the request from scratch.

How do I set this up?

Install Nexter Blocks, switch on the blocks you want, connect your site’s MCP connection to your AI assistant, then copy a recipe and paste it in. The Nexter Abilities page has the full steps.

Does the assistant build real blocks or just HTML?

Real Nexter Gutenberg blocks. They show up in the block editor with their settings panels, and you can edit, duplicate or move them like any block you add by hand.

Which AI assistants are supported?

Any assistant that supports the Model Context Protocol, such as Claude or Cursor. The recipes work the same in all of them.

A recipe says the block is not registered. What now?

Switch the block on under Nexter › Blocks and run the recipe again. Blocks that are switched off cannot be created by your assistant.

Do I need Nexter Blocks Pro?

37 of the 105 blocks in this library are free. The rest, including the WooCommerce set, need Pro. Each block page shows which one it is.

Can I change a recipe before I use it?

Yes. Treat each one as a tested starting point and add your own text, colours, counts or spacing before you paste it.

Will the result be responsive?

The assistant places the same tested blocks you would add by hand, so the output keeps their responsive behaviour and uses your site’s global colours and typography.
