Related Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do if my popup isn't showing up at the specified date and time?

If your popup isn't appearing as expected, first check that you have correctly set the Start Date and End Date in the Display Conditions. Ensure that the toggle for 'Show For Specific Time' is turned on. Additionally, verify that there are no conflicting popup trigger elements on the page; setting the Type to Hidden in the Popup Load Settings tab can help prevent issues.

What are the best practices for showing a popup at a specific time?

To maximize the effectiveness of your popup, combine the specific date and time settings with other display conditions like 'On Page Load' or 'After Inactivity.' This ensures the popup appears automatically without requiring user interaction, increasing the likelihood of engagement and conversions.

What happens if I forget to set the end date for my popup?

If you forget to set an end date for your popup, it may continue to display beyond your intended timeframe, which can confuse visitors or dilute the urgency of your promotion. Always double-check your date settings to ensure your popup aligns with your marketing strategy.

How can I ensure my popup is effective without being intrusive?

To ensure your popup is effective yet not intrusive, use the 'Hidden' Type setting in the Popup Load Settings tab. This allows the popup to appear at the right time without requiring users to click anything. Pair this with thoughtful timing, such as displaying the popup after a user has spent a certain amount of time on the page.
