## Before You Start

- **Edition:** **Pro** — the Popup Builder block is part of Nexter Blocks Pro.- **Block to enable:** Popup Builder, switched on under **Nexter > Blocks** in your WordPress dashboard.- **The popup's content decided:** a short message, a form, or a saved pattern to load into it.

## Steps

- Add the **Popup Builder** block to your page and click **Design from Scratch**.

- In the **Content** panel, choose a **Type** and set the popup's size.

- Set **Content Type** and add what the popup should show.

- Open **Display Conditions** and switch **Show For Specific Time** on.

- Set the start and end date and time for the period the popup should run.

- Publish the page and test it on the front end.

## How It Behaves

- This condition is decided **on the server**, using your site's timezone.- Inside the window the popup renders normally; outside it the block renders nothing at all — both were verified.- Because it is decided before the page is sent, there is no flash of a popup that should not be there.- The popup still needs another condition, such as On Page Load, to decide how it opens within that window.

## Limitations

- **Pro only.**- The window uses your site's timezone, not the visitor's, so an international audience sees it start and end at your local times.- Page caching can serve a cached copy from before or after the window. Clear the cache when the window opens and closes.- Outside the window nothing is rendered, so there is no way to preview the popup on the live page before it starts.

## Troubleshooting

### The popup does not show during the period I set

Check the site timezone under **Settings > General**, and clear any page cache. Then confirm another condition is switched on to actually open it.

### It is still showing after the end date

A cached copy of the page is being served. Clear the page cache.

### I want to preview it before the start date

Set the start date to now temporarily, check the popup, then set the real window.
