Turn it off unless you have a reason to keep it, because a moving carousel is hard to read and hard to click.- **One card per view is the default.** Measured `perPage: 1`, so an unconfigured carousel shows a single category across the full width. Set the per-view count for each breakpoint.- **Arrows are off and pagination dots are on by default.** Measured `arrows: false`, `pagination: true`. Most people want the reverse.- **Cards render as real image tags**, unlike metro, and each is still a link to its term archive.- **It is the same slider engine as Carousel Anything and the Post Listing carousel**, so settings behave identically across all three.- **The category image comes from Nexter's own term image field**, set on the term itself when you edit it. It is not WordPress's featured image and, on a product category, it is not WooCommerce's category image either — those are stored separately and this block does not read them.- **The post count is shown by default.** Measured on an untouched listing: each card rendered its real term count.- **Type a number into the item count; do not leave it blank.** Measured on 5.0.6: a blank field renders **one** term rather than all of them, and so does `0`. Reported to the developers.- **Measured with Nexter Blocks Pro deactivated:** the block renders nothing at all — not a wrapper, not a message, zero output. This is a Pro-only block. ## Limitations - **Pro only** — nothing renders with Pro deactivated.- **Autoplay that does not pause on hover is genuinely hard to use.** A visitor reaching for a category can have it slide away mid-click. Turn autoplay off.- **Categories off-screen are effectively hidden.** If the listing is your main navigation, a grid serves visitors better.- **Only the visible cards are obvious.** Without arrows or dots there is nothing to tell a visitor there is more to the right.- **Autoplaying motion is an accessibility problem** for people sensitive to it, and there is no user control to stop it.- **A carousel with three categories is not worth the script.** Use a grid. ## Troubleshooting ### Only one category is visible at a time That is the default of one card per view. Set the per-view count for each breakpoint. ### It keeps sliding while I try to click Autoplay is on by default and does not pause on hover. Switch it off. ### There are no arrows Arrows are off by default. Enable them, and consider turning the pagination dots off in exchange. ### Only one card exists at all Different problem: the item count is blank or zero.
