If you’re running a blog or a news website, you may want to limit the length of your blog post titles to ensure they fit neatly on your site’s pages. Not only does this create a more visually appealing layout, but it also helps readers to quickly scan and find the information they are looking for.
With the Post Listing block from the Nexter Blocks, you can easily limit the blog post title by character or word count.

Requirement – This block is a part of the Nexter Blocks, make sure it’s installed & activated to enjoy all its powers.
To do this, add the Post Listing block on the page, and select the appropriate listing type, post type, style and layout.
Then go to the Show Title option under the Extra Options tab.
Note: Turn on the Show Title toggle if it is turned off.
To limit the title by word count, select Word from the Limit section.
Note: You can also limit the title by characters, by selecting Character from the Limit section.
In the Maximum Words field, you can set the number of words it will show in the title.
