🗞️ — WordPress & Tech Bytes
- WordPress is upgrading its platform to support AI agents by giving them access to content, plugins, and site features. This will allow AI tools to summarize posts, trigger actions, or interact with site elements directly. The goal is to make WordPress websites more dynamic and AI-integrated.
- WordPress version 6.8.2 is on track, with the first release candidate (RC1) expected on July 8 and the final version slated for July 15. This incremental update focuses on bug fixes, under-the-hood improvements, and quality-of-life patches rather than new features, ensuring a smoother, more polished platform for users and developers alike.
- Google has integrated Search Console Insights into the main dashboard, replacing the beta version. The new “Insights” tab offers key metrics like clicks, impressions, trending page, and query data, making performance tracking simpler for non-technical users.
- Google’s June 2025 Core Update began rolling out on June 30 and may take up to three weeks. It aims to improve how helpful, high-quality content is ranked, and site owners are advised to focus on E-E-A-T and avoid quick fixes during this period.
- Google clarified that having valid HTML isn’t a ranking factor, as many top sites rank well despite errors. What matters more is having a clear, machine-readable structure like meta tags and structured data, and useful content, not perfect code.
- Google has removed its old guidance to block auto-translated pages using robots.txt. Instead, it now focuses on the quality of translations, high-value content can stay indexed, while low-quality pages should use noindex for control.
- BrightEdge data shows over 90% of AI search referrals from tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Bing come from desktop, not mobile. In contrast, traditional Google Search still leans slightly toward mobile, highlighting a desktop-heavy trend in AI-driven search traffic.
🔥 — Tool of the Month
Website StyleKit is an intuitive color palette generator that helps users create beautiful, cohesive color schemes for websites, apps, or branding projects.
It’s ideal for web designers, developers, and marketers looking to quickly develop professional-level designs without the hassle of manual color-picking.

Excellent Tool – Easy to Use and Highly Flexible
I really like using Nexter Blocks. It’s easy to use, stable, and offers a high degree of flexibility, which makes building pages much more efficient. The wide range of starters via WDesignKit is an added bonus that saves a lot of time. On top of that, the support team is quick to respond and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend them to anyone working with Gutenberg!
