The default WordPress reset email is plain and unbranded, and it is often the first email a member ever gets from you.
The Login & Signup block in Nexter Blocks Pro lets you write that email yourself.

Before You Start
- Edition: Pro — the Login & Signup block is part of Nexter Blocks Pro.
- Block to enable: Login & Signup, switched on under Nexter > Blocks in your WordPress dashboard.
- Working email on your site: the block sends account emails through WordPress, so use an SMTP plugin to keep them out of spam.
Steps
- Add the Login & Signup block to your page and click Design from Scratch.
- In the Forms panel, set Type to Login.
- Choose a Layout: Inline Form shows the form on the page, Button opens it from a toggle button.
- Open the Lost Password tab.
- Turn on Custom Email.
- Write your Email Subject and Email Message, using the shortcodes below. Save.
Shortcodes for the Email

How It Behaves
- With Custom Email off, WordPress sends its standard reset email.
- With it on, your subject and message are used instead, with the shortcodes replaced.
- Password Reset Page decides where the link takes people: Default keeps them on the same page, Custom sends them to a page you choose.
Limitations
- Pro only.
- Always include
[tpgb_link], otherwise the email has no way back into the site. - Reset emails depend on your site’s email setup, so use SMTP.
Troubleshooting
The email looks like the old WordPress one
Turn on Custom Email in the Lost Password tab and save the page.
Members report no reset email
Send a test email from your SMTP plugin and check the spam folder.
